Welcome to the 1st GMLG Conference in Entrepreneurship: Creating and Evaluating Opportunities
Dear participant,
It is a great pleasure to host the 1st GMLG Conference in Entrepreneurship in Lueneburg. We hope to offer an attractive course to our master students in entrepreneurship and a highly inspiring event to all our guests, such as scientists, entrepreneurs, financiers, practitioners, and policy makers. This conference will help to keep Leuphana as one of the most start-up-friendly universities in Germany.
Last year’s Luenale (ceremony of Lueneburg’s three most relevant business awards) demonstrated the growing entrepreneurial spirit at Leuphana as students in entrepreneurship and start-up management won the prices for the best Leuphana business idea as well as Lueneburg’s price for the hottest start-up in 2010.
It is our passion to act entrepreneurially and to develop creative projects in these areas of research and teaching. This is why we offer the GMLG Conference these days and intend to continue it in the future.
The conference is aimed at action-based learning that is considered to be the best tool to create entrepreneurial mindsets. Participants will work actively in small groups and will profit from a critical discussion about key issues in high-quality entrepreneurship research and practice. It enables international cooperation and exchange of knowledge. Let the 1st GMLG Conference in Entrepreneurship be a meeting place for students, regional, national as well as international guests to share our knowledge and experience.
